This elegant round dining table is one of Le Corbusiers most famous works. Originally designed in 1929, it is a work of art in itself. Le Corbusier started his business at the age of thirteen, engraving watch faces, and later moved on to teach himself architecture. Though many of his designs were rejected in his time, they went on to inspire others throughout the world. The original table was designed as a part of the living equipment for the Modern Art Salon in Paris, and is a sister table to the rectangle one he also designed.
